Effective July 14, 2026 · Last updated September 7, 2026

TrustBridge ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. TrustBridge is a product developed under Braynic. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit trustbridgeplatform.com (the "Site"), contact us, create or use a TrustBridge account, complete Trust Passport or other verification, or use protected payment / escrow style Services when available. This Policy describes our current operating model and governance posture. It does not claim that TrustBridge Technologies Inc. or Braynic Technologies Limited holds any Central Bank of Nigeria payment service licence, banking licence, or other regulatory authorisation that those entities do not hold. If you do not agree with this Policy, do not use the Site or Services.

In Nigeria, Braynic Technologies Limited operates TrustBridge onboarding, payment infrastructure, SMS verification, and related local compliance.

Depending on what you use, this may include:

  • Name, email, phone number, and message content (contact forms, support, complaints)
  • Account details (for example name, phone, and credentials related data)
  • Basic buyer verification details (such as name and phone verified by OTP)
  • Trust Passport and identity data, which may include government ID details or images, BVN or NIN related verification data, selfie or liveness related data (including face related signals from Apple TrueDepth / ARKit face APIs where used for SmartSelfie liveness), and trusted reference details
  • Transaction details you enter (item description, amounts, delivery information)
  • Dispute, complaint, or support evidence you submit

Information from verification and payment partners

We may receive results and status from identity verification providers (for example verification pass / fail / review required, and job references), payment partners (for example payment initiated, verified, failed, refunded, or payout status), and SMS / OTP providers (delivery status for verification messages).

We do not ask the mobile or web client to invent identity or payment success. Partner and server records are the source of truth for those outcomes where applicable.

Information collected automatically

When you use the Site or Services, we may collect:

  • Device and browser type
  • Approximate location from IP address
  • Pages or screens viewed, referring URL, and similar usage data
  • App or service diagnostics needed to operate and secure the product
  • Cookies or similar technologies where required for functionality or analytics (if enabled)

Sensitive information

Identity documents, biometric related selfie / liveness data, and BVN / NIN related data are treated as sensitive. We use them for verification, fraud prevention, compliance with partner requirements, and platform safety. We do not sell this information.

Face related signals and selfie / liveness data collected during Trust Passport Selfie verification (including where Apple TrueDepth / ARKit face APIs are used) are described in more detail in the section “TrueDepth, ARKit face APIs, and selfie liveness” below.

TrueDepth, ARKit face APIs, and selfie liveness

When you complete Trust Passport Selfie verification in the TrustBridge mobile app, we use Smile ID SmartSelfie for identity verification and liveness (anti-spoofing). On supported Apple devices, that flow may use Apple’s TrueDepth camera and ARKit face APIs.

Using those APIs, the app may collect face related signals available on the device for liveness checks — for example facial geometry, depth information, and head orientation or facial expression signals — together with selfie and liveness camera images needed to verify that a real, present person is completing the selfie step.

We use this information only to confirm liveness, complete seller Trust Passport identity verification, prevent identity fraud and spoofing, and operate related compliance and platform safety controls. We do not use TrueDepth / ARKit face data for advertising, tracking across other companies’ apps or websites, Face ID device unlock, AR entertainment, or other unrelated purposes.

TrueDepth / ARKit face signal processing used for liveness may occur on your device. Selfie and liveness images required for verification are transmitted securely to our identity verification provider, Smile ID, so Smile ID can perform verification and return a result to TrustBridge. TrustBridge stores verification status, partner job references, and may store selfie upload artefacts in secured cloud storage (for example Amazon S3) as needed for your Trust Passport record. We do not sell this information.

We share this information with Smile ID as our identity verification provider, and with infrastructure and hosting providers (for example AWS) that support the Services, under confidentiality and security expectations. Smile ID’s handling of personal and biometric related data is also governed by Smile ID’s privacy policy at https://www.usesmileid.com/legal/privacy-policy. We do not sell face data or TrueDepth / ARKit face signals.

We retain this information only as long as needed for verification, fraud prevention, disputes, audit, legal obligations, and partner requirements described in this Policy. When retention is no longer required, we delete or anonymise where practicable, subject to legal holds and backup cycles. You may request deletion or ask privacy questions by emailing hello@trustbridgeplatform.com; we may need to verify your identity, and some records may need to be kept for legal, dispute, fraud, or partner obligations.
